Curtis Greve is a managing partner at Greve-Davis, the recognized leader in reverse logistics consulting. For over 25 years Curtis Greve has worked with retailers, manufacturers, and liquidators to help them improve reverse logistics processes and recovery rates on their returned goods. Prior to Greve-Davis, Curtis worked for Genco for 15 years where he was responsible for all reverse logistics, retail distribution operations, and systems.  Prior to Genco, Curtis worked for Walmart for 12 years, where he was the VP of Reverse Logistics. .

Curtis is a well know speaker on reverse logistics and has been a featured speaker at numerous events around the world. In addition to the many industry events, Curtis has been a guest lecturer at colleges across the country including the University of Tennessee, University of Arkansas, Duquesne University, and the University of Nevada, Reno. From IT, Daan first made a step towards a Managed Services environment at Atos. After that, he worked 6 years for Packard Bell, in The Netherlands, France and Taiwan, where he was responsible for the Repair Services in EMEA and for the Warranty on Boards and Products purchased from ODMs in China. After Packard Bell he moved to a leading Benelux Repair & Logistics Service Provider; Comserve, where for a period of almost 4 years he was responsible for delivering the services to companies like TomTom, Apple and HP. Environmental Affairs Manager Chairman of WEEE group at DIGITALEUROPE

David Scuderi took on the role as Environmental Affairs Manager at the European Headquarters of Samsung Electronics in London in early 2009. In this role he oversees the compliance of Samsungs operations with environmental legislation related to Chemicals, WEEE-, Batteries-, International Shipment of Waste and Packaging Directives as well as being responsible for environmental policy development and the liaison with industry partners, NGOs and government bodies in the European Union.

Prior to this role David spent two years as Government Affairs Manager for Hewlett Packard in Berlin with responsibilities ranging from environmental issues to information technology policy.

He is currently chairman of the WEEE Group at the European electronics trade association DIGITALEUROPE, member of the WEEELABEX Standards Project Steering Group as well as DIGITALEUROPE representative in the European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardization CENELEC TC111X WG6 Standardisation Group aimed at the establishment of the first official set of pan-European WEEE recycling standards.

David earned his first degree in Italian and European Law at the Università degli Studi di Trento (Italy) followed by a Master of European Studies at the University of Hamburg (Germany).

Manages Oracle’s reverse logistic processes for finished goods within EMEA, accountable for (re)designing, developing and mainting of a low touch, low cost, high velocity (reverse) supply chain to facilitate the dispositioning and processing of returned, retired(end-of-life) and excess equipment. Managing Oracle’s EMEA returns transportation~ and asset recover partner to ensure material will be disposed in an environmental friendly manner and material won’t show up on the grey market.

Ernst has, in the past, held various operations and/or supply chain management related responsibilities at Philips Telecommunication & Information Systems, Digital Equipment and SUN Microsystems. Ernst is also APICS CPIM~ and CSCP certified.

Francesc Gomila is currently responsible for the Whole Unit Repair Central Business Operations in the EMEA Customer Support and Services Supply Chain.

Francesc’s +10 years’ experience in global IT Company spans across Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Distribution; After-Sales Category Management, Business Planning and Strategy; and WW Future Products Technical Marketing at Global Business Unit (relocated to Singapore). Accountabilities held at EMEA and WW level, covering consumer, SMB and Enterprise segments in the Printing and Personal Systems businesses.

Francesc also practised as Associate Professor at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia. Prior joining HP, Francesc worked as IT Consultant and Professor.

Francesc’s educational background includes Industrial Electronics Engineering degree, Master’s in Automatic and Industrial Electronics Engineering, courses at the Stanford University, L6S Black Belt Certified, and an International M.B.A from ESADE Business School and National University of Singapore Business School.

Harold Krikke studied Industrial Engineering and Management at Twente University of Technology in Enschede. At the same university he completed his Ph.D. in 1998 in the field of reverse logistics and subsequently worked as an assistant professor at Erasmus University Rotterdam and also as a business consultant at Tebodin consultants. Between 2001-2005 he worked as a project manager of CentER Applied Research and in 2005 he was appointed Associate Professor at the Tilburg School of Economics and Business. As of April 2008, he is also the Professor of Closed loop supply chain at the Open University Netherlands, currently sponsored by DurabilIT.

His  research focuses on Closed-loop Supply Chains and the relationship with Product Life Cycle Management, Sales&Marketing and Purchasing. He has published   in international journals such as International Journal of Production Economics, European Journal of Operational Research, International Journal of Production Research, The International Journal of Life Cycle Assessment, California Management Review etc.

After completing his study in Computer Science at the Technical University Delft, where he graduated in Artificial Intelligence, Jaap joined IBM in 1990. His first role was to participate as Information Analyst in the internal development of the IBM Service Parts Management System. After having performed several management roles in this environment he had the pleasure of working at IBM’s European Headquarters in Paris for three years.

After a few years outside of logistics he rejoined the Service Parts business and was soon back in a management position, now in the operation itself. In 2007 he was asked to assume responsibility for the entire planning operation, in which he is responsible for both service levels (parts availability) and inventory management in Europe, Middle-East & Africa, where he has a worldwide leadership role in IBM – ensuring that the worldwide inventory does not exceed the budget.

Lee Sacco leads development of Oracle Corporation’s reverse logistics and aftermarket service solutions, building technology that helps customers profitably recover, re-use and recycle products and parts. His teams have delivered applications that reduce waste, build more sustainable products and reduce the ecological impact of returns to over 500 businesses worldwide. His goal is to make Oracle a zero-waste showcase for sustainable and profitable returns management. Prior to joining Oracle, he built e-commerce and customer care solutions with Andersen Consulting. He holds a B.S. in Symbolic Systems from Stanford University.

Line Sandberg (pronounced: Lena Sandberg) has a background in Biochemical Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark and a B.Sc. in Commerce (Business Administration) from Copenhagen Business School.

Line joined Novozymes A/S in 1992 as a Production Engineer (at that time Novozymes was part of the pharmaceutical company Novo Nordisk). Later on she moved into Project Management, International Production Optimization and Production Management. In 2003 she joined the Quality organization as Senior Manager and in 2005 she was appointed Global Quality Director of Novozymes A/S. In 2008 she was appointed Senior Director of Supply Chain Organization in EMEA region + head of all technology development and investments in Novozymes’ Supply Chain – globally. Today, she heads up Supply Chain Development and a Shared Service Center in Bangalore, India. She is responsible for all CAPEX investment, strategy development, technology, IT, distribution network design and customer integration in Novozymes global Supply chain.

In 2003 – as she joined the Quality Organization – she started up the deployment of Six Sigma and Lean in Novozymes. She is Master Black Belt and certified Black Belt and has been the deployment champion of Six Sigma in Novozymes. She has trained over 270 project leaders within the discipline of Lean management, and she is a frequent speaker at international conferences

Tomas Bouchal finished Institute of Chemical technology in Prague as dipl.Engineer of chemical technology. 1982 – 1999 worked at Spolana Neratovice, Czech Republic, in various positions, last 9 years as Business Unit Director.

Since 1999 worked for Diversey, built Supply Chain team and strategy in CEE, established 3rd party producers network, re-tendered all the logistics business in CEE. Since 2009 focused on Logistics, today, beside operational responsibility for CEE logistics, is also responsible for the European Network Program Strategy and execution of the projects (optimalisation of number of warehouse locations in Europe and  distribution networks without impact on service level).
